I'll have more pics later, but right now I'm catching up on sleep, energy and making notes for the two new stories that came to me over the course of the retreat. I blame Kat Richardson and Rachel Swirsky for the horror I am about to inflict upon the publishing world (mwahahahahaha). On the other hand, this is the first time in a while that I've been buzzed about my work.
That's a good thing.
Final retreat word count was 25,091. About a third of that is now about to go in the trash can and another third is notes that may become scenes once I flesh them out or may become even more junk. We'll see.
Anyway, I hope everyone's weekend was well. Now I need to find out more information about ICFA and see if I can ever convince OASIS to invite me as a guest author. I mean, they're practically in my back yard.
