General Rambling

So I’m posting because… well, rumor has it that one should post to one’s blog if one wants to get traffic, right?

So this is me posting. A couple of random thoughts.

1) I post SQL related blogs on Saturdays.
2) I post writing prompts on Wednesdays.
3) Viable Paradise starts soon. WHOO!
4) My article on writers becoming editors should be out soon in the SFWA Bulletin.
5) I have my contract for The Fall of Jolly Tannum, to be published in the Coins of Chaos anthology. Yay! I get to work with Jennifer Brozek again!
6) I’ve selected stories for the November issue of Penumbra, with the theme of Exploration. It occurred to me as I did this that I literally had the power to change an unpublished author’s life. Wow. Where’s Castle Greyskull when you need it?
7) I need to get a subscription campaign and an advertising campaign going for Penumbra.
8) I’m going to be speaking at my second ever public engagement (author-wise) at the end of this month, Baltimore Book Festival. WHOO!
9) My cats are annoyed that I’m still on the laptop.

Okay, that’s it for now. I’ll publish something more meaningful tomorrow or Wednesday. In the meantime, feel free to follow me on Twitter.
