The SFWA Nebula awards are coming up and SFWA members have until February 15th 2012 in which to place their nominations. I've already made one recommendation based on a previous nomination and intend to fulfill my member's duty by nominating others for the awards. I fully urge all SFWA members, associate, active, and lifetime, to submit your nominations to the pool. How else will we get the best fiction on the award list?
And while it's rude to go from person to person campaigning for one's own stories, I will mention publicly (and one time only) that this year I actually have 2 novelettes that are eligible: Silk and Steam from The Ladies of Trade Town by HarpHaven Publishing and The Hunt for Liberty Jones from Space Tramps (vol. 5 of the Full Throttle Space Tales) by Flying Pen Press. If anyone happens to have read and enjoyed them, I'd appreciate a nomination.
And if anyone would like to throw a Hugo nomination (or consideration) this way for either of them, I'd appreciate that too.
After all, I can dream, can't I? @=)
