It's official. Shadowrun: Conspiracy Theories is out in .pdf format (and print pre-order) at BattleShop and DriveThruRPG.
If you thought your game master was a sadistic son-of-a-*%$#@, you ain't seen nothing yet. Not until (s)he gets into the spirit of real Shadowrun mayhem with suggestions from this supplement. Thing is, runners, you have to ask yourself. Is the paydata in this book real or are the corps just playing with you?
Barely out of the gate, Conspiracy Theories has a plethora of "must buy" reviews (here and here) and is the latest SR4 book I've worked on. I wrote the intro fiction for the London section of the book. Yes, I'm biased, but this book was a heck of a lot of fun to work on and is a riot to read. Be warned: This is a plot book, not a rules book.
Here's the official CGL Blurb:
"One certainty of the Sixth World is that secretive people are planting nefarious things. Whether it’s as simple as a planned theft of paydata or as complicated as a plan to overthrow national governments in a step toward world domination, conspiracies are happening. The trick, though, is sorting the real conspiracies from the unreal, the truth from the lies. Or maybe the trick is not caring about the truth and just learning how to manipulate people based on what they believe."
I hope you enjoy!
