SQUEE. I’m so excited. The Ladies of Trade Town, the anthology to which I sold "Silk and Steam," is not only coming out in June, A-Kon 22 is hosting a HUGE launch party and signing event on Saturday, June 12th. .. Wait. Saturday is the 11th. If I’m going to go, I need to verify with Boss Editor Lee that it’s Saturday for the signing, not Sunday.
Regardless, A-Kon22 is in Dallas, Texas from June 10 – 12, 2011 at the Sheraton Dallas (formerly the Adams Mark)in downtown Dallas. There will be a panel, a mass autographing session (should I bring my other books too?) and The Party starts at 7:00 pm. on the 38th floor of the Sheraton, presumable in a conference room or a suite.
I am so very excited about this and now need to get the scratch together to pop over to Dallas and get to know my fellow authors and party till the cows come home. <- that comment is much funnier if you’ve picked up A Career Guide to Your Job in Hell and read my story "Another Day, Another Labor."
Anyway, my very first Launch Party! WHOO HOO!
