At Martha’s Vineyard, there’s an old fashioned carosel called "The Flying Horses". Matociquala talks about it in her blog here and in a few other posts. She’s even writing a story about it.
The point of this post? Someone on Kaja Foglio’s blog (which I also follow) posted this link to a STEAMPUNK carosel.
Wow. Bear calls the Flying Horses creepy. They ain’t got nothing on the steampunk carosel. Watch the video. Seriously, seriously bizarre in a fun kind of "gotta write a story about that one" kind of way.

That carousel is awesome, and not creepy! Or at least, I think the music in the video is making it seem creepier than it is. That girl making the mouth move at the end? Sweet!
