The taxes are done. FINALLY. Yeesh. It took forever and five rounds of triple-checking to make sure I got the numbers right.
Now I get to move on to, I hope, fun writing stuff. I'm debating on short story tonight (NEW OPEN MARKET HERE) that could help me make my qualifying sale for SFWA active membership, or working on Chosen some more.
Oh, who am I kidding? 3000 words that could get me to active membership a lot faster than the novel? I've already got my first two. This one's a no-brainer.
I still may cheat a little later on and work on the novel, but I should start figuring out what kind of story I want to tell. Because… That's how this works.
