June 1st. Release day, and I’ve got a twofer going on.
Legend of the Beemen is a short story, selling for .99 cents, and is an animal story… Well, actually, it’s a bug story.
Running from your past never works, especially when it’s hunting you down.
Former yellowjacket queen, Balsa, has taken refuge with her cousin Juniper after the destruction of her own home by the legendary beemen. When other yellowjacket cities disappear, Balsa must choose between her oath of secrecy and her duty to Juniper’s children. But the beemen have other plans, and Balsa’s choice is not among them.
Legend is available in PDF, Mobi, Nook (ePub) and Kindle formats from Musa Publishing. It will also be available in the Nook and Kindle stores shortly (if it’s not already).
My other release, the June issue of Penumbra emagazine, is actually not a writing project. It’s an editing project. As guest editor-in-chief, I was responsible for picking the final stories, arranging them, coordinating the artwork and layout with Alisha, the layout guru, and signing off on the final magazine. It was a learning experience and I enjoyed it very much.
The theme is Greco-Roman mythology and Penumbra is also available from Musa Publishing.
I am looking for reviews on both, so if you happen to purchase one or the other (or both please?), I’d love to hear from you.
Now you’ll have to excuse me. I have a happy snoopy dance to execute.
