Blog: Writing Prompts # 1

A friend on another forum is looking for websites that give out writing prompts, something writers can use for practice and such, and it occurred to me that I've been meaning to do something of the sort. If anyone cares to play, here's a prompt for you.

Story Type: Point of View (perspective piece, something that tells the reader about the character)

Inciting Incident (what gets the piece started): Worst birthday present EVER.

Three things to include: Bees, Trampoline, and a Tea Cozy.

I'd love to hear from anyone who plays with these prompts. Tell me what you think about them, if you have problems, if you manage to get a story out of them, whatever. Please post your thoughts.
