Contest Time for a free anthology! #ACareerGuideToYourJobInHell

You thought your job was bad? Wait until you hear about these nine jobs! You’ll be shocked and horrified and more grateful than ever for the job you have now once you’ve read this anthology.

I finally have hard copies of both my new anthologies and I’m giving away 2 copies of each in two separate contests. The first contest will be for 2 copies of A Career Guide to Your Job in Hell, an anthology about the world’s crappiest jobs. This is one of the most amazing anthologies I’ve had the pleasure to work on and the other writers are just… Wow.

Here are the rules for this contest:

#1) You must be 18 or older to participate. This anthology contains language and violence and I don’t want parents screaming at me for interfering with their parental right to restrict their children’s reading material (no matter how anti-censorship I am).

#2) You must reply to this post with a description (remember this is a family blog) of the worst job you’ve ever had. It can be a couple of sentences, it can be a couple of paragraphs. Whatever floats your boat. Just don’t make it a novel. If you can write a novel, you should be selling it to the big houses, not posting it for free on my blog. @=)

This contest is open through March 31st. On April 1st (ignore the obvious implications, please), I will pick and announce both winners, so make sure to watch this blog.

EDIT: As a side note, I would just like to point out Elizabeth Bear’s current contest to help out earthquake victims in Japan. Please take a moment to visit her blog and see what’s cooking. I’m sure a lot of people would appreciate it.
