World Fantasy Con, the big professional convention for writers, is a convention limited to a total of 850 attendees and they’ve already reached over half that number in memberships (registrations).
If you intend to go, now is the time to join. It’s expensive, but there are a lot of agents, editors, and fellow writers there (few fans). It’s a great place to network. So, buy your membership. Even though the Con isn’t until October, it’ll probably be sold out by March.
