Here’s a little network humor, courtesy of some co-workers, that I thought might brighten your day.
What the Help Desk really wants to say when you complain about a slow network connection:
1) Oh, didn’t we tell you? We’re cleaning the dust out the network cables today.
2) Yeah, we’re replacing the bearings on the router. Soon as we re-pack and grease everything, the network should be just fine.
3) We just got a new squirrel to run the router. Took some doing, though. It’s hard finding the right size squirrel.
4) You lost your network token. It’s probably on the floor behind your desk. Why don’t you look for it and call me back when you do?
