SQL Saturday in Jacksonville

It’s scheduled for May 2nd (on Saturday of course), at the University of North Florida campus. I just submitted four possible beginner sessions which include "Disaster Recovery: Preparing for the Storm", "The Nitty-Gritty of Database Backups", "The Joys of PIVOT and How to Undo It" and "T-SQL 101 – English to T-SQL Query".

If you’re in the area, and like all things SQL, or if you just want to know how to SQL Server DBA type things, please show up. I’d like to see you there. The event is free, includes lunch and lots of prizes, and is usually a lot of fun.

URL is http://www.sqlsaturday.com/eventhome.aspx?eventid=19 for the Jacksonville event. For information on a SQL Saturday near you, just go to http://www.sqlsaturday.com. And if you still can’t find one, contact your local user group or Andy Warren & Brian Knight about how to set one up locally.

Next post is going to be about copyrights. Look for that in the next day or two.
