SQL Saturday in Atlanta

If it weren’t a 5 hour plus drive away, I’d go to Atlanta in April for SQL Saturday. I’d love to present. Unfortunately, I have no fundage for hotel & stuff. I’m spending all my available cash on Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver and 2009 Botcon in Pasadena (May).

For those of you who are interested, though, the Call for Speakers has been extended to February 20th. Here are the details:

AtlantaMDF is hosting SQLSaturday #13 in Atlanta on April 25, 2009.  We still have a few speaker slots available, and have extended our call for speakers through Feb 20 (next Friday).  I realize that some of you are very far away from the Southeast region, but if you’re available, please let me know.

Please visit our event homepage for more information on the event: http://www.sqlsaturday.com/eventhome.aspx?eventid=17  If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me directly at stuart@codegumbo.com.

SQL Saturdays are free events to developers, DBAs and anyone else interested in learning about Microsoft SQL Server. I’ve been to a couple, and presented. The events are lots of fun. Apparently in Atlanta, they are charging for lunch, but that’s probably because they don’t have enough sponsers to cover it. Anyway, if you like things technical and are interested in SQL stuff, I urge you to go.
